How does ACCYO's Safeguarding Children Program work?

  1. Register for Safeguarding Children Program
    Register your interest
  2. Implementing the Safeguarding Children Program Standards
    The organisation develops and implements the policies and procedures required to meet the standards.  
  3. Safeguarding Children Training
    Training can be undertaken either online or face-to-face. For more information see Safeguarding Children Training
  4. Self-assessment
    The organisation completes a self-assessment process to determine if they are ready to be audited.
  5. Audit
    An independent audit is conducted to determine whether the standards have been implemented.
  6. Successful accreditation
    A certificate of accreditation, valid for three years, is awarded by ACCYO.
